Chairman Mark Becomes Unibond Chief
Witton Albion Chairman Mark Harris has been appointed Chairman of the Unibond League, replacing the outgoing Peter Maude.
Having served on the Unibond board since 2005 Mark has recently acted as Vice Chairman and also has lead the league's marketing activities securing deals with Adidas and Corbett Sports. His appointment as Chairman was agreed at the league's AGM last weekend.
Mark took over the Chairman's position at Witton at the start of last season and since then has worked tirelessly to address the needs of the club, a situation that he says will not change, "People will inevitably say that I will have less time for Witton Albion now, but I can categorically say that's not true", he told the Northwich Guardian.
Mark went on to say that the appointment was a "huge honour" and hoped that his position "is a boost to Witton as much as me".
Officials and supporters of Witton Albion would like to congratulate Mark on his appointment and wish him the best of luck in this new role.
