Manager Gary Finley has this evening (12 March) secured the signing of 25-year-old midfield player Paul Brown.

Paul started his professional career with Tranmere Rovers, making his debut on 27 November 2004. He has had Conference experience with Accrington Stanley (on loan from Tranmere) and Barrow. A spell in Australia with Kingston City was his next port of call before returning to Barrow, following which he signed for Tameside outfit Droylsden, the club from which he has joined us.

Paul will be in contention for a place in tomorrow's line-up.
