Pub Guide
This Pub Guide provides visiting supporters with a list of pubs in the local area.

Whilst there are a number of pubs in Northwich Town Centre most of these are around 1.5 miles from the ground. We have listed these below, however on matchdays home and away* supporters are welcome at the Wincham Park Club Bar at the ground.

Wincham Park Club Bar

Open on matchdays from 1pm. Access to the bar is from within the ground and therefore you should gain entry through the turnstiles in the usual way. The entrance to the Club Bar is half way along the main stand via the walkway next to the Directors' seating area. A full selection of draught and bottled beers, wines and spirits are available as well as sandwiches and other snacks.

*It may be necessary to segregate the use of the Club Bar for certain fixtures and in this instance the club will advise of this in advance.

Northwich Town Centre

The following 4 pubs are all within 100 yards of each other at the top of Witton Street (excellently named) in the town centre;

Penny Black
110 Witton St Northwich, CW9 5AB
01606 42029

The Penny Black is a Wetherspoon's pub so you know what to expect before you get there! Cheap drinks and decent food available throughout the day. This is popular meeting place for Witton fans on home and an early breakfast (and pint) before away games!
Fan rating = 8/10

The Anderton
125-129 Witton Street, Northwich, CW9 5DY
01606 333618

One of the town's newer drinking establishments, The Anderton is more 'bar' than a 'pub'. Flat screen TV's throughout makes this a good choice on a Saturday to watch the lunchtime or evening Sky TV games. Good location with food available all day.
Fan rating = 7/10

Witton Chimes
122 Witton Street, Northwich, CW9 5NW
01606 47904

Describing 'Chimes' as a rock or biker pub may not create a fair image of the place. Good atmosphere with a slightly older crowd than it's near neighbours. Live music on most Saturday nights.
Fan rating = 6/10

The Roebuck
Witton Street, Northwich, CW9 5EA
01606 350265

One of the town's older pubs, often is one of the last stops walking out of town towards the ground! It's another place to go for a drink!
Fan rating = 6/10

The Amber Lounge
15-17 High Street, Northwich, CW9 5BY
01606 354545

More of an upmarket bar by night with late opening and stricter door policy. It has been scene of a few post-match celebrations after a good win (so clearly not somewhere we went very often last season)!A bit pricey but then it is nicer than most of the others!
Fan rating = 8/10

Nearer the ground

The Chesterway
New Warrington Road, Chesterway, Northwich, Cheshire CW9 5LS
01606 352005

The Chesterway, still called the Millhouse by most, is at the roundabout at the top of New Warrington Road on the way to the ground. Another popular meeting place for Wittoners and away supporters. This is a family pub with a Wacky Warehouse (so behave)! Two for One food menu all day and outdoor seating (and play area).
Fan rating = 7/10

The Black Greyhound
Hall Lane, Wincham, Northwich, CW9 6DG
01606 43053

One of the nearest pubs to the ground but probably the least used by fans, so make your own mind up! It's a pub and they serve beer!
Fan rating = not rated!

Slow & Easy
Manchester Road, Lostock Gralam, Northwich, CW9 7PJ
01606 42148

The Slow & Easy gents toilets got a spectacular 10/10 on pubtoilets.com, it may be that this is the main talking point about the place! They also have rooms to stay in if the toliets impress you that much! Near to the ground, several Witton and Vics players are rumoured to have signed contracts on the pub car park!
Fan rating = 5/10

The Salt Barge
Ollershaw Lane, Marston, Northwich, CW9 6ES 01606 43064

On the side of the Trent & Mersey Canal, the Salt Barge is opposite the Lion Salt Works. The Salt Barge and the Salt Works are both prominent in local history and fortunately in the case of the Salt Barge they have the added attraction of serving beer!
Fan rating = 6/10

If you travel into Northwich via the A556 you will pass The Windmill (at M6 Junction 19) and The Smoker (near the Plumley road juntion), both of these are good pubs that are an excellent choice for food.
